Wastewater Service Connection

If you need a new wastewater (sewage) service connection in any Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) wastewater service area, you must first submit a sewer service request form.

Requests for wastewater service connections can be submitted online.

Sewer service request forms can also be filled out in person at:

  • SCRD Administration Office, located at 1975 Field Road, Sechelt, BC V7Z0A8
  • Pender Harbour Satellite Office, located at 12828 Lagoon Road, Madeira Park, BC V0N 2H1

Payment for the connection will be requested by the SCRD following review of the submitted application form. The connection fee can be paid online or in person at the SCRD Administration Office or by cheque only at the Pender Harbour Satellite Office. You can also mail a cheque to the SCRD Administration Office.

Frequently Asked Questions

A deposit of $2,500 will be charged for those properties not having a wastewater service connection in the Sakinaw Ridge Community Sewage Collection System.

Those properties not having a wastewater service connection previously installed in all other SCRD Community Sewage Collection Systems will be charged with a deposit of $1,500.

Should the cost of such connections be greater than the deposit, then additional costs incurred will be the responsibility of the property owner.
